Turning Natural Edge Bowls with Al Czellecz

Natural edge (or live edge) turnings are a unique and often times beautiful form that any turner can learn. Al Czellecz has been turning stunning examples of this type of work for a number of years and will guide students in this special two-day hands-on class. Al will teach students how to prepare turning blanks from the log, learn various ways to hold the wood on the lathe, learn specific types of cuts to keep the bark intact and explore sanding and finishing options.
