Bowl Turning with Al Czellecz

This 4-night class is an opportunity to concentrate solely on turning bowls. Students will learn basic and advanced bowl turning techniques, tool grinding and various methods for holding the work- including simple home-made jigs and commercial four jaw chucks. Projects will include a variety of bowls and platters made from cherry, mahogany and either tiger maple or walnut. Decorative edges and finishes will also be covered in this unique hands-on class. Fee: $245.00 (plus materials: $40.00)
