Instructor: Glen Huey

Glen Huey was born and raised in Ohio.Glen Huey from YouTube Video After graduating from the University of Cincinnati, he got into home building. A couple of career changes later and with a desire to expand his passion for woodworking, he opened a company to design and build projects for home-builders in his area. After completing a major project, he changed the focus of his work to creating 18th and early 19th century period reproductions.

He is the author of several books about period furniture – Building 18th Century American Furniture, Fine Furniture for a LifetimeBuilding Fine FurnitureGlen Huey's Illustrated Guide to Building Period Furniture: The Ultimate Step-by-Step Guide (Popular Woodworking), and others such as Trim Carpentry for the Homeowner: Make it square. Make it tight. Make it Right.  He is the host and talent on “The Woodworker’s Edge” series of woodworking videos and  a contributing editor with Popular Woodworking Magazine.

Hi Bob,
Just a quick note to thank you and Will for an excellent experience in the Chapin Class.  I had to be home early and was not able to properly thank  you for the additional time on Sunday.  I have learned a lot in this class as I have in all of your programs.  I’ll see you in the fall.
