I just completed a two day workshop in basic woodturning, taught by Corey Anderson.
I was pleased in every aspect of the experience.
The class size was large enough to introduce us all to a wide range of turning skills and
small enough to feel comfortable and familiar with each other and to receive much 1:1 guidance.
The facilities could not be better, just feet away from a Woodcraft store - with no less than a 10% discount!!
But the most important reason for my writing, is to tell you how skilled, personable and entertaining Corey Anderson was as he directed the class. He was generous with information and suggestions that deepened our understanding of the woodturning experience. He commented that his experience with wood turners is that they are remarkably generous with their skills and wisdom. Corey certainly fits that description.
I hope that my schedule and his offerings allow me to be his student in the future.
My first experience with Connecticut Valley School of Woodworking will not be my last.
