“Taste of” Woodturning

If you have been intrigued by woodturning but are not sure if you want to make the commitment to a full class, both in time and in money, then this is the class for you. This new class features our regular woodturning instructors who will be demonstrating a variety of spindle turning and bowl turning techniques. After some basic demonstrations we will get you going on the lathe to turn your first simple project - in either mahogany or walnut. Basic machine safety will be covered along with answers to questions about tools and lathes in general. Don’t miss this opportunity to be a part of the fascinating and rewarding craft of woodturning.
