Instructor: Mario Rodriguez
Mario has been teaching, writing and working with wood for over twenty years. He is a Contributing Editor for Fine Woodworking Magazine and is the author of Traditional Woodwork (Taunton Press, 1998).
Mario's unique classes encourage students to get the most out of their hand-tools by learning how to sharpen and tune them up to their maximum potential. Other classes concentrate on specific techniques such as creating and inlaying a Federal style fan or learning to make hand cut dovetails.
Mario runs the woodworking program at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and is also a special consultant for Lie-Nielsen Toolworks.
