Basic Blacksmithing - Part Two- with Walter Scadden

Everyone who has done a little blacksmithing work should realize that it is a skill you develop only with time and practice. Join Walter for this continuation of his beginning class and learn some new techniques while practicing those that you started in the beginning class. This second in a series will feature a number of new projects to pick from, including a lighting fixture or a simple lamp, hinges and latches, fireplace tools, a plant hanger or a pot rack. This is also the time to start thinking about incorporating some iron work into your woodworking projects. Many Arts & Crafts furniture pieces featured iron hinges, door pulls, etc and if you come with a simple design on paper then you may be able to begin to turn it into reality!
