Bob,
I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed yesterday's class Sharpening Hand Saws, with Matt Cianci.
A great time, material well presented, and I left feeling that I have learned the basics of a really useful skill.
I wanted to say thank you as I was leaving, but you were intent on setting your saw and I didn't want to distract you.
Matt is an excellent teacher. He brings an enthusiasm and a passion for hand saws that is infectious to everyone in the room.
Not only is he extremely knowledgeable, he is also willing to admit what he doesn't know, which I think is the sign of a true master.
Living as I do on the far side of the Hudson Valley, it is a five hour round trip drive for me to come to CVSW.
So if I make the drive, I want to come away with a useful new skill that I can take to my own shop and use again on my own.
The Saw Sharpening Class did just that.
